Oprah Winfrey has always been ‘America’s sweetheart’ and everyone wants to meet her. To our amusement, oddly enough, whoever meets her tends to talk about how amazing she smells.
James Marsden mentioned during Conan that Oprah smelt wonderful, she smelled like diamonds. The cast of Glee also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 2010. After the episode had aired, Chris Colfer joked that Oprah smelled like money.
Fictional characters have also expressed their opinion on how Oprah smells. ’30 Rock’ character Lemon, voiced by Tina Fey had met Oprah and commented on how good she smelled. “Oprah smells like rosewater and warm laundry,” Fey stated.
A contestant of College Championship on Jeopardy went out with Oprah for lunch and stated, “She literally came and had lunch with me; it was amazing and also, she just smelled really good.”
Oprah attended ‘Watch What Happens Live’, host Andy Cohen was asked to smell Oprah and Andy did that. Cohen was asked to share his views on how Oprah smelled, to which Andy added, “Oprah has a “floral note, with a hint of gardenia and bountiful garden.” Oprah surprised everyone when she announced that she wasn’t wearing any perfume.
Nick Offerman decided to share the secret behind Oprah’s pleasant odour on The Tonight Show. He read description of a body wash and shower gel which was Oprah’s favourite item. “With notes of grapefruit, and bergamot contains vitamins C, E, and skin softening shea butter, smell absolutely delicious.”
“Personally, I have no idea what the hell half those words mean, but if you would like to smell like Oprah, just shut up and wear it.,” he added, His point is duly noted ny the fans.
