KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) lawmaker Sheikh Abdullah on Wednesday announced to join the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP). He announced this at a press conference at Nishtar Park. PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal and President Anis Qaimkhani were also present on the occasion. Abdullah said, “I have resigned from the provincial assembly seat and join PSP as a general worker to continue positive struggle.” He said the MQM founder’s speech forced him to leave the party after a 30-year affiliation with the party. He said, “I am not afraid of anything but we cannot become a traitor.” “Our forefathers have created Pakistan and we are patriots and will remain loyal [to Pakistan]. I will not remain attached with those who were talking against Pakistan,” Abdullah remarked. He said, “I run my home finances with Sindh Assembly salary but PSP President Anis Qaimkhani told me that the only benefactor is Allah.” Mustafa Kamal welcomed him onboard and said, “We feel proud of him that he is part of the party. This is evidence of popularity of our philosophy that is spreading everywhere.” “Our message becomes popular in the hearts of all countrymen and all people were in contact with us but we do not ask to join PSP, but people are joining our party at their own will,” he added. “Since March 3, there is no contradiction in our words and actions. We have not lied to anyone and working with our sincerity and honesty that’s why only truth emerges,” Kamal added. “Allah gave us strength to speak truth and follow the right path that’s why people are joining us in great numbers,” he added. “We will celebrate our first year of Pak Sarzameen Party anniversary and people from all over the country will join us on the occasion,” he remarked.
