
DUBAI: Islamabad United and West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has been ruled our of the Pakistan Super League, it was announced on Tuesday.
According to IU Franchise Manager Rehan-ul-Haq, Russell pulled his hamstring, while MRI reports conducted reveal that the all-rounder will not continue with the team for this season’s PSL.
Rehan further wished the West Indian a speedy recover on the team’s behalf. However, no announcements have yet been made of Russell’s possible replacement.
Russell has accumulated a total of 4 wickets in PSL 3 thus far, while the all-rounder’s best batting moment came when he hit the winning six against Lahore Qalandars in a super-over thriller at Sharjah.
