LONDON: Kensington Palace revealed Prince George will go to Thomas’s Battersea, which costs £5,653 per term, from September. The school’s most important rule is to “be kind” and headmaster Ben Thomas tells parents to “love your child for who they are”. Prince George could be expected to learn ballet at his new school where the first rule is to be “kind” – although children are discouraged from having best friends because it could leave others feeling ostracised and hurt. Ben Thomas, the school’s headmaster, said there was no official policy regarding best friends but he supported the idea. He said, “There is sound judgment behind it. You can get very possessive friendships, and it is much easier if they share friendships and have a wide range of good friends rather than obsessing too much about who their best friend is.” “I would certainly endorse a policy which says we should have lots of good friends, not a best friend.’’
