I was on the way of approaching my destination. Yet, my thoughts had crowded my head. When I reached the place, my thoughts were still present, but my destination had moved further away. I returned to my track and started fleeing in mischief. Once again, I reached my destination, but this time, my thoughts were left behind. And without my thoughts, I could not reckon my destination. As a result, I turned back. I, along with my destination, started moving towards my destination again. As we reached my destination, I realised that it was not the same as my previous one. Neither was I constant nor were my thoughts similar. I was still, however, relaxed and satisfied. “Thank God, I didn’t end up without any destination at all.” Ali Jan Maqsood teaches at DELTA Academy, Turbat, and studies at Atta Shad Degree College, Turbat.
