MANSEHRA: Tehreek-i-SubahHazara (TSH) has demanded justice for the families of those killed during a protest in Abbottabad in 2010.
Speaking at a rally on the seventh anniversary of the tragedy on Wednesday, Tehreek-i-SubahHazara Convener Mushtaq Khan Swati said they had been striving to win justice to the victim families for last seven years. Holding banners and placards with slogans in support of their demands, the protesters marched from the press club and gathered at the Khatm-i-NubowatChowk. “We want justice for the families of those who laid down their lives for separate province of Hazara,” said Swati, adding their struggle for a separate province would continue.
Speaking on the occasion, MaulanaWasiurRehman said came down hard on PML-N government for not declaring Hazara a separate province. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had pledged to give provincial status to Hazara after winning the 2013 elections,” he said and urged the PML-N leadership to honour their promise. The speakers also asked the federal government to create more federating units including Hazara in the country.
