DADU: Pakistan People’s Party’s local leaders of Kandhkot, Moro and Naushahro Feroze announced their decision to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at the residence of former Sindh chief minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi at Betto Jatoi village. They expressed dissatisfaction over increasing corruption, unemployment, poverty, water shortage and other socio-economic problems in Sindh. Those who joined PTI included: Pir of Ranipur Sardar Farooq Ahmed Bhayo, Syed Ahmed Ali Shah Jilani, Syed Akbar Shah Jilani, Munawar Kazi of Kazi Faiz Muhammad family, Ubedullah Bukhari and Ali Ahmed Chandio of Naushahro Feroze. PTI Vice President Sindh and ex-senator Sadaqat Ali Jatoi, PTI Hyderabad Divisional Secretary Karim Ali Jatoi and Hyderabad District President Sardar Ashiq Ali Jatoi were also present on the occasion. Liaquat Ali Jatoi said that PTI chief Imran Khan had vowed to develop Sindh and the province would become prosperous after PTI comes into power. He said that PTI would resolve issues of Sindh. He said that Imran Khan had a plan to eradicate corruption from the country and people from other parties were leaving their parties and joining PTI. He said that it was good sign that people were joining PTI in big numbers and PPP strongholds in Kandh Kot and other areas had become weaker. He announced that PTI would hold a public gathering in Kandh Kot soon and more PPP activists will join PTI soon. Pir of Ranipur Sardar Farooq said that he had left PPP and joined PTI for its welfare programme and his supporters would also remain loyal with PTI. Sadaqat Ali Jatoi said that PTI will form next government in Pakistan and in all provinces. Meanwhile, activists of PPP left Dadu for Islamabad to attend public gathering of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Member National Assembly Rafique Ahmed Jamali, PPP Hyderabad General Secretary Dost Ali Jessar and Khalil Ahmed Shaikh said that the masses had faith in PPP as the party had worked for the welfare of the poor.
