Kia sportage and peugeot 2008 prices drop in pakistan

Published on: June 22, 2026 7:58 PM

Kia Pakistan and Peugeot Pakistan have announced significant price reductions on selected SUV and crossover models, offering relief to buyers in the local automobile market. The move comes as manufacturers aim to boost demand amid rising competition and shifting consumer affordability concerns.

The biggest reduction has been applied to the Kia Sportage Alpha, where prices have been cut by Rs1 million, making the entry-level SUV more accessible for customers. The revised price applies to invoices issued on or after June 22 across Pakistan.

Under the updated pricing structure, the Kia Sportage Alpha now costs Rs7,899,000 instead of Rs8,899,000, positioning it as a more competitive option in the mid-range SUV segment. The model continues to feature a 2,000cc non-hybrid petrol engine designed for everyday urban and highway use.

Meanwhile, Peugeot Pakistan has also reduced prices for both variants of the Peugeot 2008, offering cuts of up to Rs1.3 million depending on the model. As a result, the crossover lineup has become more attractive for buyers seeking modern design and compact SUV features.

The Peugeot 2008 Active now costs Rs5,799,000, while the Allure variant has been reduced to Rs6,499,000. These adjustments reflect broader efforts by automakers to respond to market pressure and improve vehicle affordability for consumers in Pakistan.

Overall, the latest price cuts across both Kia and Peugeot models are expected to stimulate buyer interest in the SUV and crossover segment. Analysts suggest that increased affordability may encourage more customers to upgrade to newer models in a highly competitive auto market.
