The POA will review the nominations in line with the athletes’ medal prospects, compliance with *Olympic Council of Asia (OCA)* entry rules and the overall quota available to Pakistan for weightlifting at the Games. The final number of weightlifters to be sent to Aichi?Nagoya will be determined after that review. PWLF officials reiterated their commitment to transparency and merit in the selection process and said the federation would continue to follow international standards in athlete preparation and administration.
