
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti held a meeting at Parliament House to discuss national and provincial affairs, with a focus on strengthening cooperation between the federation and the province.

The meeting was also attended by Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Saleem Ahmed. Participants reviewed a range of issues related to governance, development and public welfare in Balochistan.
During the discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination, cooperation and harmony between the federal and provincial governments. They exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored ways to improve collaboration for the benefit of the province and the country as a whole.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in Balochistan. Particular attention was given to infrastructure development, public welfare initiatives and measures aimed at accelerating economic growth and improving living standards in the province.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the need for effective communication and stronger institutional links between the federation and Balochistan. He said mutual trust and close cooperation were essential for addressing challenges and ensuring sustainable development.
He described Balochistan as a province of strategic importance to Pakistan’s progress, prosperity and stability. According to the speaker, the province’s development is closely tied to the country’s broader economic and social advancement.
Ayaz Sadiq also appreciated the efforts of the provincial government in promoting peace, stability and public service delivery across Balochistan. He noted that sustained development and prosperity in the province would contribute significantly to Pakistan’s future growth and national cohesion.
