Hajj 2026 sermon calls for unity, faith, and global peace

Published on: May 26, 2026 4:57 PM

The Hajj 2026 sermon delivered by Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaify from Masjid Namirah conveyed a powerful message to Muslims across the world, focusing on faith, unity, and spiritual discipline. Broadcast in 35 languages, the Khutbah encouraged the global Ummah to strengthen belief, practice patience, and prepare sincerely for the Hereafter through repentance, piety, and obedience to Allah. It also reinforced strict monotheism, reminding believers that worship belongs only to Allah and reaffirming the finality of Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ message.

Furthermore, the sermon stressed the sanctity of human life, wealth, dignity, and honor while strongly condemning division, hatred, and harmful speech within the Muslim community. The Imam highlighted that these principles form the foundation of a just and peaceful society, especially during times of global uncertainty and internal challenges. He urged Muslims to avoid sectarian differences and political divisions that weaken unity and harm the collective strength of the Ummah.
