Pakistani singer and actor Farhan Saeed has triggered a fresh debate on social media after sharing his views on relationships, male behaviour and women’s self-respect during a recent television appearance.
The discussion took place while he was promoting his upcoming film, where he appeared alongside actress Mamya Shah Jaffer. During the conversation, the topic turned to relationship dynamics and trust issues. When Mamya Shah Jaffer remarked that many young men damage relationships through false promises and deception, Farhan Saeed responded candidly that it is not just a few, but that “most men are fraud”. His statement immediately drew attention in the studio discussion and later online, where clips from the show circulated widely across social platforms.
Farhan Saeed also advised women to prioritise their self-respect, happiness, and personal identity in any relationship. He stated that women should not compromise their sense of self or mental peace in an attempt to preserve a relationship.
He further added that many women believe they can change a man’s personality through love or sacrifice, but in reality, such transformations are rare. According to him, women often adopt a mindset of trying to “save” relationships or individuals, which can ultimately lead to greater emotional harm for themselves.
While acknowledging that some men can also be affected by manipulative partners, he noted that, in general, women tend to suffer more emotional damage in relationships.
