Dar said that China is actively building what he described as a “digital corridor,” which he believes will help strengthen economic collaboration between the two countries and create new opportunities for employment and innovation.

He added that Pakistan’s digital economy is growing at a fast pace, supported by reforms and increasing investment interest in the technology sector.

The deputy prime minister further stated that collaboration with China extends beyond infrastructure, covering key areas such as education, healthcare, and climate change response.

He emphasised that both countries are focused on equipping Pakistan’s youth with modern skills aligned with global technological demands, enabling them to participate in the evolving digital economy.

According to him, joint efforts between Pakistan and China are expected to accelerate economic development and open new avenues for innovation-driven growth.

Dar reiterated that Pakistan is becoming increasingly attractive for digital investors due to its expanding tech ecosystem, young population, and improving policy environment.
