
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mixed weather conditions across the country over the next 24 hours, with rain-wind thunderstorms expected in northern regions and severe heat continuing in southern areas. The advisory highlights a sharp contrast in weather patterns nationwide.
According to PMD, partly cloudy conditions with rain, dust storms, and thunderstorms are likely in upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the Potohar region. Some areas may experience moderate to heavy rainfall along with possible hailstorms during this period.

In Islamabad and nearby areas, intermittent rain and wind-thunderstorms are expected. Several cities in Punjab, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Sialkot, may also witness stormy weather conditions at isolated locations.
Meanwhile, Sindh and southern Balochistan are expected to remain extremely hot and dry. Upper Sindh may face very hot conditions, while most parts of Balochistan will continue experiencing intense heatwave conditions.

In the northern regions, including Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms is forecast at isolated places. The PMD has also warned of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in some areas, urging caution.
