The accident took place on Wednesday morning when Nair’s vehicle collided with a lorry on a highway in Kerala. Police said the impact of the crash was severe, causing critical injuries to the actor.

Officials reported that Nair suffered major chest trauma after being thrown against the steering wheel during the collision. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead shortly after arrival. His wife, Subhashri, sustained fractures in her ribs and is currently receiving medical treatment.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash to determine whether speeding, mechanical failure, or driver error played a role in the accident.
