
Pakistan’s textile exports recorded strong growth despite regional uncertainty, official sources said. Exports increased 22.81 percent year-on-year in April 2026. On a monthly basis, textile exports also rose by 11 percent. Officials said the sector showed resilience amid challenging external conditions.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, textile exports grew by 1.48 percent during the first ten months of the current fiscal year. From July 2025 to April 2026, exports reached 15.07 billion dollars. In the same period last year, exports stood at 14.85 billion dollars.

In April 2026 alone, textile exports reached 1.498 billion dollars. This compares with 1.22 billion dollars in April 2025. Officials said the increase reflects improved industrial performance. They added that global demand trends also supported export growth.
Exports in March 2026 were recorded at 1.35 billion dollars. The rise in April indicates continued recovery in the sector. Analysts said monthly fluctuations remain, but the overall trend is positive. They linked growth to better production and trade conditions.

The Ministry of Commerce said the textile sector remains the backbone of Pakistan’s exports. It added that continued reforms and market access efforts are essential for sustained growth. Officials said the government is monitoring external risks closely. They expressed optimism about maintaining export momentum in coming months.
