After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Pakistan posted an imposing total of 330 for five in 50 overs. Opener Sadaf Shamas led the innings with an impressive 98 off 130 deliveries, narrowly missing out on a century. Her knock included 17 boundaries and helped Pakistan build a solid platform early in the innings.

Sadaf shared a crucial 162-run opening partnership with Gull Feroza, who contributed a steady 50 from 60 balls. The strong start allowed Pakistan to dominate the early stages and place Zimbabwe under immediate pressure.

Sidra Amin maintained the momentum in the middle overs with a brisk 67 off 59 balls, striking nine fours. In the final overs, wicketkeeper-batter Najiha Alvi accelerated the scoring dramatically, smashing an unbeaten 56 off just 30 balls, including eight fours and one six.

Captain Fatima Sana also added quick late runs, remaining unbeaten on 11 from only three deliveries as Pakistan finished strongly.

Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled to contain the hosts, with Precious Marange emerging as the most effective performer by taking three wickets for 39 runs. In reply, Zimbabwe failed to cope with the challenging target of 331 and were bowled out for 162 in 36.4 overs.

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana made early breakthroughs with the ball, removing two batters in the opening spell and putting Zimbabwe on the back foot. Beloved Biza showed resistance with a fighting 53 off 53 balls, hitting eight boundaries, but lacked meaningful support from the rest of the batting lineup.
