Journalists reject Indian media disinformation campaign

While admiring Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq (Day of the Battle of Truth), the journalist community on Sunday rejected Indian media disinformation, supported Pakistan Armed Forces’ strong reply and applauded Pakistani media for promoting a constructive national image internationally.

In a video message shared with various media channels, journalists from different departments hailed Pakistan’s strong response on Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq, appreciating the firm stance and professional handling of the situation. They said the response reflected national unity and determination, while also praising the media’s role in presenting a clear and positive narrative.

Senior journalist Waseem Badami said that Pakistan’s strong and unified response on Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq reflects national resolve, paying rich tribute to the armed forces for their professionalism, courage and firm stand in safeguarding the country’s narrative and dignity.

He also referred to Indian propaganda and said that despite attempts to spread misinformation, Pakistan’s media stood firm and continued reporting the truth, showing resilience and commitment to factual coverage.

Journalist Mujeeb Ur Rehman also added that the importance of media responsibility, saying that truth-based reporting strengthens national unity and helps counter disinformation effectively.

He further praised Pakistan’s strong response to India, saying it exposed negative narratives and reinforced the country’s position with clarity and confidence on the international stage.

Senior journalist Hamid Mir said the situation highlights the importance of media responsibility and also saluted Pakistan Air Force personnel, praising their professionalism, dedication and role in defending the country with courage and precision.

A female journalist also added that the observance of the Day of Truth marks a moment of national reflection, where unity and responsible journalism play a key role in strengthening the country’s stance against misinformation, while appreciating the armed forces for their disciplined response.
