Defence analyst and former Caretaker Minister for Home and Prisons Affairs Sindh, Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz, has said that Pakistan’s armed forces delivered a decisive and historic blow to India during “Marka-e-Haq,” downing fighter jets and 83 drones, and the real face of India had been exposed before the international community.
He termed “Marka-e-Haq” and Operation “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” a defining moment that exposed India’s policy of patronizing terrorism in Pakistan and other regions. Talking to APP, he said that under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the nation was united within days, leading to what he called a humiliating defeat for India and its growing diplomatic isolation.
He paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, stating that the Pakistan Army effectively countered what he described as Indian media propaganda and responded with precision in self-defence by neutralizing enemy assets and targeting launch sites of missiles and drones. Highlighting Pakistan’s diplomatic role, he said the country is playing a constructive part in facilitating dialogue at the international level, reflecting growing global trust in its leadership. Brig Nawaz warned that any future aggression would be met with a strong and decisive response, stressing that Pakistan possesses the capability to defend its sovereignty. He concluded by saying that Pakistan’s global image has improved significantly, with increasing international engagement reflecting confidence in the country as a stable and responsible state.
Formal celebrations have commenced across Sanghar district on Sunday to mark the completion of one year since the historic success of Operation “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” (Battle of Truth), with a dignified ceremony held at a local church symbolizing religious harmony, national unity and solidarity with the armed forces. People belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Christian communities participated in large numbers and reaffirmed their commitment that followers of all faiths stood united for Pakistan’s progress, peace, stability and national security, while extending full support to the armed forces of the country. Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sarah Javed and member of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee Pakistan, Rajesh Kumar Hardasani attended the event as chief guests.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Sarah Javed said that the success of the operation reminded the nation of the professionalism, capability and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. She said the people of Pakistan slept peacefully because of the unmatched sacrifices rendered by the armed forces, whose commitment had made the country’s defence impregnable.
