Iran said diplomacy remains open if the United States changes its threatening tone, according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held telephone discussions with foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Türkiye, Egypt, Iraq, and Azerbaijan. He briefed them on Iran’s steps to end the war with the United States and Israel. These contacts aimed to update regional partners on ongoing developments.
He stated that Iran is ready to keep diplomatic channels open. However, he stressed that the United States must change its threatening language and expansionist behavior. According to him, respectful dialogue is necessary for any meaningful negotiations to move forward.

At the same time, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that Pakistan is acting as the official mediator in talks with the United States. Officials added that no formal negotiations have been scheduled yet. They said an official announcement will be made if and when talks are arranged.
