KARACHI: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) inked a data centre hosting agreement with 1LINK Guarantee Limited, the largest payment network in Pakistan for automated teller machines (ATMs) and point of sale (POS) network, for a term of three years. According to a press release issued on Monday, the initiative will be deployed at PTCL’s data centre facility in Karachi The agreement was signed by PTCL Digital Services EVP Farooq Ahmed Jalali and 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited CEO Najeeb Agrawalla. Others present on the occasion included: PTCL President & Chief Executive Officer Dr Daniel Ritz, PTCL Digital Services General Manager Umar Farooqi, 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited CIO Azimullah Khan, 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited COO Bashir Khan, 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited IT head Azeem Siddiqui, and other officials.
