According to an official statement, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani has been transferred to the Lahore High Court. Justice Babar Sattar has been moved to the Peshawar High Court, while Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz has been transferred to the Sindh High Court. The decisions were approved by a majority of the commission members.

Moreover, the meeting was convened under constitutional provisions after procedural developments within the Judicial Commission. Officials noted that the session was called following a requisition by members, as the initial meeting request was declined by the chairman. The commission proceeded under Article 175A of the Constitution.
Additionally, the commission decided that any vacancies created due to these transfers will be filled through further transfers rather than fresh appointments. It also clarified that such positions will not be treated as new vacancies for initial recruitment. This decision sets a procedural precedent for future judicial postings.

Finally, proposals to transfer additional judges from the Islamabad High Court to other provincial high courts were withdrawn during the meeting.
