The incident reportedly occurred in Saeed Khan Lakho village, where four people were killed under circumstances that are now being investigated by police and provincial officials. The Sindh Home Department confirmed the fatalities and described the situation as serious, prompting immediate administrative action.

Following the incident, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar and Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho took notice and ordered a detailed report from senior police officials. The IG directed strict departmental action and suspended three SHOs linked to the area, including officers from Kandhra, Patni, and Saleh Pat police stations.

The suspended officers have been attached to “B” Company at Police Headquarters Garden in Karachi, where they will remain on duty during the suspension period while receiving salaries and allowances as per rules.

An inquiry committee headed by the Ghotki Senior Superintendent of Police has been formed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have been instructed to determine whether any procedural violations or negligence occurred.

Officials emphasized that those found responsible for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) will face legal consequences. The home minister stated that a transparent and comprehensive investigation will be carried out, covering all aspects of the case.

Law enforcement authorities have also been directed to arrest individuals involved in any unlawful activity related to the incident and ensure strict legal action.
