A mild earthquake jolted Karachi and surrounding areas on Saturday. The tremors caused brief panic among residents across multiple parts of the city. Authorities confirmed the quake was of low intensity.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured a magnitude of 3.4. The epicenter was located about 24 kilometers northwest of Malir in Karachi. Officials said the quake originated at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers.
