The decision was taken during a meeting of the cabinet’s sub-committee held today, where the report of the one-member inquiry commission was reviewed in detail. The commission, headed by Justice Agha Faisal, identified the causes of the incident, determined responsibility, and presented recommendations for future action.
For the implementation of the Gul Plaza inquiry, a committee has been formed with Minister for Home, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar as Convener. The members include Minister for Local Government, Housing and Town Planning Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister for Industries Ikramullah Dharejo, and Additional Chief Secretary Home Iqbal Memon, who will serve as Member/Secretary.

The committee will also monitor implementation and regularly update the government on progress.
