Just imagine those beautiful moments when news anchors, analysts, and commentators across the global media repeatedly mention Pakistan, and the country’s name is prominently featured in the headlines of the world’s most respectable newspapers and international journals. There was a time when Western media attempted to associate Pakistan with terrorism, and today, that same media is calling Pakistan an ambassador of peace. This elevated status has been bestowed upon Pakistan by the grace of Almighty Allah.
After defeating India in the war of May 2025, Pakistan began its journey of ascent. Since then, the country has not looked back. There was a time when Pakistanis were viewed with suspicion and disdain at airports around the world; today, the same green passport is being acknowledged with respect, and foreign airport staff are referring to its holders as peacemakers.
A false narrative was spread globally about Pakistan, which caused its rankings on international platforms to decline. However, when the truth emerged, Pakistan began to be recognized across the East, West, North, and South as a guardian of peace, and its green passport is now being discussed as a symbol of security and stability.
Pakistan rendered a great service to the world by preventing a war between Iran, the United States, and Israel. At one point during the crisis, the situation had escalated to a frightening level, but then Pakistan made a decisive entry with full strength and completely transformed the scenario at the last moment.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played a central role in establishing peace.
Pakistan’s leadership engaged both the American and Iranian leadership in dialogue for peace. Subsequently, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself announced the ceasefire between Iran and the United States. These were moments of immense pride and honor for every Pakistani. Following this announcement, India reacted strongly, and its media began venting its frustration. Unfortunately, there is also a segment within Pakistan that feels discomfort at every positive development concerning the country.
At a time when energy and gas crises had intensified across the globe, Pakistan did not remain a passive observer. Instead, it stepped forward to lead peace efforts on the front line. While Pakistan itself was not facing a crisis as severe as that experienced by approximately 84 countries within a week, it chose not to remain silent. Rather, it led negotiations to ensure global peace and to save millions of lives.
Now, both American and Iranian leadership are coming to Pakistan to take the next step toward a permanent ceasefire. This peace agreement will benefit Iran even more than the United States. The conditions emerging from this agreement are highly favorable for Iran. One of the most significant conditions is the halting of Iran’s nuclear program. Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei and the Iranian leadership have repeatedly stated that Iran does not seek to acquire nuclear weapons. In return, if global sanctions on Iran are lifted, its assets restored, and it is allowed to trade oil freely, Iran can recover from four decades of hardship.
Pakistan will also benefit from this development, as it will be able to import oil from Iran easily by road and revive the previously agreed gas pipeline project with Iran. If a permanent agreement is reached between Iran and the United States, it will be a major victory not only for them but also for Pakistan. The true hero is the one who leads peace, and in this entire scenario, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is playing the role of the central hero.
Today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stands at the peak of his political career. His name resonates globally as an ambassador of peace. This is no ordinary achievement-it is a matter of great pride not only for the Pakistan Muslim League (N) but for every Pakistani that the world is acknowledging Pakistan and its Prime Minister as peacemakers.
Pakistan has established itself as a successful state in both defense and diplomacy. Now is the time for Pakistan’s economic takeoff, and within the next two years, the country is set to emerge before the world as a strong economic power.
