Vin Diesel teases ‘good news’ as ‘Fast & Furious’ marks 25th anniversary

Published on: April 6, 2026 3:39 AM

Vin Diesel teased “good news coming” during the Fast & Furious 25th anniversary celebrations. Earlier this month the 58-year-old actor and film maker went to the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles during the “A Fast & Furious Legacy: 25 Years of Automotive Icons” exhibit.

On Wednesday, April 1, he took to his Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photograph.

The snapshot captured Vin, whose full name is Mark Sinclair Vincent, from behind, looking at a large mural featuring himself and his late co-star Paul Walker.

He stands facing away from the camera, wearing a dark jacket with a prominent “X” on the back, likely referencing Fast X.

As the classic cars were on display, a large black-and-white action shot of iconic characters Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner perched on a car was set on the wall.

The other wall had a quote from Vin’s character, which read, “I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters… For those ten seconds or less, I’m free.” In the caption, the Fast Forever star and producer reflected on the approaching end of the series, describing the upcoming finale as “cathartic”. He notes that the final installment is “one year, eleven months away,” which aligns with a projected March 18, 2028 release date.

“I felt something deep and emotional Standing among the machines, the memories, the weight of what we built together. It was there, surrounded by all of it, that a kind of clarity finally came” Vin penned.

“You will soon see Riddick. Theo. Xander. The Arbor King, which is literally Disney’s most enigmatic character But the Fast finale- that that, will be cathartic,” he continued. “Not just for me, but for all of us.” “You are all a part of this beautiful dream” the action star added, before teasing, “Good news coming.” With the “good news” teaser, he might be hinting at progress on the Fast & Furious saga’s grand finale.
