
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan is playing an important role in US-Iran talks while urging regional peace. He warned that any Indian aggression could be met with a response reaching as far as Kolkata. His remarks highlight Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and assertive regional stance.
Speaking in Sialkot, Asif emphasized Pakistan’s involvement in ongoing US-Iran discussions but refrained from giving detailed commentary. He expressed hope that Pakistan’s mediation would succeed, adding, “I pray that Allah grants us success in these efforts and that peace is established in our region.” He stressed that all conflicts should be resolved through dialogue rather than force.

Asif also called for unity among Muslim nations, urging them to overcome differences. “We are followers of one Prophet. May Allah save us from differences,” he said, emphasizing Pakistan’s efforts to foster leadership in promoting peace and reconciliation within the Muslim Ummah.
Turning to India, Asif accused it of planning false flag operations to create a terrorism narrative. He alleged India could stage incidents using its own people or Pakistanis in custody. He highlighted that India is economically and militarily larger but claimed global opinion has criticized its recent actions, suggesting India has faced international humiliation over the past year.

In a strong warning, Asif stated Pakistan would respond decisively to any Indian move. He referenced past Air Force operations inside India and warned, “If India makes any move this time, we will go all the way to Kolkata.” Despite the warnings, he reiterated his hope for peace, stressing dialogue as the key to regional stability.
