
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has completed preparations for its pre-Hajj operation, sources confirmed. The flights will begin on April 18 and continue until May 21, transporting pilgrims to Madinah and Jeddah in the first phase. Overall, PIA plans to carry more than 60,000 pilgrims to the holy sites through 202 flights.
According to sources, 49,000 pilgrims will travel under the government Hajj scheme, while 11,000 will use the private Hajj scheme. PIA will operate direct flights from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Quetta, Faisalabad, and Multan.

The post-Hajj operation is scheduled to start on May 30 and continue until June 30, ensuring a smooth return of pilgrims. PIA will deploy Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 aircraft for the entire Hajj operation.
Officials said the airline has taken all measures to ensure comfort, safety, and timely transport for pilgrims throughout both pre- and post-Hajj operations. The flights are part of PIA’s annual Hajj service, which is a critical component of Pakistan’s Hajj arrangements.

Pilgrims and travel agencies have been advised to follow PIA’s schedule and boarding procedures closely to ensure a smooth journey to the holy cities of Madinah and Makkah.
