Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf criticised the Hyderabad Kingsmen think tank over team selection following a heavy loss to Lahore Qalandars in PSL 11. He suggested the new franchise lacked clarity in building a competitive side.
Yousuf highlighted that Saim Ayub must take responsibility within the team and predicted Marnus Labuschagne would struggle to secure a spot in a strong lineup. He praised Sharjeel Khan’s batting, noting that if Sharjeel finds form, he could single-handedly change a match.

Commenting on Lahore Qalandars, Yousuf said the squad is well balanced and that Fakhar Zaman consistently plays for the team rather than personal milestones. He also lauded Sikandar Raza as a key all-rounder, while emphasising Lahore’s strong bowling attack.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan off-spinner Taufeeq Ahmed noted that only a few domestic players are capable of consistently supporting their side in Twenty20 cricket. He complimented Fakhar’s team-oriented performance in the match.

Taufeeq also raised concerns about Hyderabad’s team kit, pointing out that the expensive uniforms were fading. He stressed such logistical issues should be addressed before matches to maintain professionalism.
