Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed Tuesday that Imran Khan seeks a deal with Pakistan’s establishment. He said the PTI founder is not willing to negotiate with political parties, affecting national political dialogue and stability. The statement highlights ongoing tensions between PTI, the government, and military authorities.
Sanaullah said as long as Imran Khan remains in jail, PTI will not engage in talks with other political groups. He added that the party should directly contact authorities to discuss any possible negotiations. He emphasized no meeting with the PTI founder should support an anti-state narrative.

He further explained that ISPR Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed the military will not engage with political parties. Sanaullah highlighted that this ensures state institutions remain neutral and maintain public confidence. He stressed that communication must follow official channels for transparency and security.
Regarding Afghanistan, Sanaullah said Pakistan will continue operations until guarantees are provided, and any temporary bases will be dismantled. He claimed Taliban-linked terrorist camps have been neutralised, and Pakistan fully briefed Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. The measures aim to protect Pakistan from cross-border threats and maintain regional stability.

Sanaullah concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s position with neighboring countries, ensuring confidence in diplomacy. He stressed that operations, political decisions, and negotiations follow legal and strategic frameworks. He reiterated that PTI’s engagement with the establishment is the only accepted channel at this time.
