
The repatriation of Pakistani citizens from Iran continued as 228 more individuals arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday through the Taftan border crossing. Authorities are facilitating the return process as tensions linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict continue to affect travel and safety conditions across the region.
Officials reported that the latest arrivals increased the total number of people returning through the Taftan border to 3,044 over the past eleven days. The steady flow of returning citizens highlights growing concerns among expatriates and travelers who are choosing to return home amid the uncertain regional situation.

Meanwhile, additional travelers also crossed into Pakistan through the Gabd Ramdan border. On Wednesday alone, 83 people entered the country through this route, while a total of 1,184 individuals have returned through the same crossing during the last eleven days.
Combined figures from both border points show that 4,228 people have reached Pakistan from Iran since the beginning of the current regional crisis. Authorities continue to manage the arrivals carefully while coordinating with local administrations to ensure smooth border operations.

The Balochistan government has arranged facilities for people arriving from Iran and is providing necessary assistance during the repatriation process. Officials stated that both Pakistani citizens and foreign nationals entering through these routes are being treated as guests of the provincial government.
Furthermore, officials emphasized that all essential arrangements have been made to support the returning individuals. Temporary accommodation, food, and other basic services are being provided to ensure their safe and comfortable transition after crossing the border.
