Russia is reportedly providing intelligence to Iran to help target US military assets, according to American media reports. The claim suggests Moscow is indirectly involved in the ongoing Middle East conflict. If confirmed, the development could further escalate tensions between major global powers.
According to US media outlets, Russia has supplied Iran with information about the positions of American warships and aircraft. The intelligence reportedly helped Iranian strikes hit US-linked targets with greater accuracy. Reports say this support continued after the conflict in the region intensified.

The reports also state that Iran has targeted US military installations, radar systems, and command centers. Analysts believe the precision of recent attacks indicates detailed planning and reliable intelligence. However, officials have not publicly confirmed the source of the information used.
Meanwhile, both the Central Intelligence Agency and the United States Department of Defense declined to comment on the alleged Russian assistance. Similarly, the Russia embassy avoided responding to questions about intelligence cooperation with Iran.
