Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said 481 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed in Operation Ghazb lil Haq. He added that 696 others were injured during ongoing clashes. The escalation affects border security and regional stability.
In a post on X, Tarar said security forces destroyed 226 check posts. He claimed that troops also captured 35 additional posts during the operation. Furthermore, 198 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns were destroyed. The figures reflect intensified cross-border engagements.

Additionally, Tarar stated that 56 locations inside Afghanistan were targeted through air operations. He described the strikes as part of the broader military campaign. The minister emphasized that the operation remains active. Security forces continue actions against militant positions along and beyond the border.
In a fresh operational update, Tarar said 67 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed in recent skirmishes. He noted that one Pakistani soldier was martyred during the clashes. Five other soldiers sustained injuries in the fighting.

Earlier reports cited similar casualty figures as the campaign progressed. The government has framed the operation as necessary for national security.
