
The United Arab Emirates intercepted 161 of 174 Iranian ballistic missiles, while 13 missiles fell harmlessly into the sea, officials said. The UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed the country’s defence systems successfully neutralized nearly all threats. The attacks caused debris-related damage but no direct missile strikes on UAE soil.
At a press briefing in Abu Dhabi, a Ministry spokesman said 172 missiles were intercepted, and the majority of destroyed ones fell into the sea. He emphasized that fragments caused limited damage to civilian areas. Three people were killed, and 68 others were injured, mostly from falling debris.

In addition, UAE forces intercepted 645 of 689 Iranian drones while 44 entered UAE airspace. Eight cruise missiles were also destroyed. The spokesman stressed that national sovereignty remains uncompromised, and the country is prepared to defend its territory at all costs.
Authorities confirmed that no missile landed directly on UAE territory, with damage resulting from debris only. Residential areas were affected, but emergency services responded promptly to casualties and infrastructure impacts. The ministry reaffirmed its readiness for any further attacks in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
