Officials briefed the Prime Minister that all security agencies remained on high alert and continued taking necessary steps to safeguard national interests. They confirmed that enhanced monitoring, intelligence sharing, and operational readiness were underway nationwide. Moreover, institutions coordinated closely to maintain harmony and avoid gaps in response mechanisms. Therefore, the government emphasized unity and swift action in light of evolving challenges.

The security review followed recent developments along the border, including the launch of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq after cross-border firing incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities stated that Pakistan responded to unprovoked actions with coordinated measures aimed at protecting territorial integrity. In addition, the Prime Minister stressed that institutions must discharge responsibilities with mutual cooperation and complete alignment. As a result, the leadership prioritized readiness and disciplined execution of security plans.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also addressed the situation in Iran following recent strikes in the region. He directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take immediate steps to ensure the safe repatriation of Pakistani citizens currently present there. Furthermore, he instructed officials to coordinate with the government of Azerbaijan to facilitate secure transit routes. This decision reflects the administration’s focus on protecting overseas citizens amid regional instability.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the people and armed forces of Pakistan stand fully prepared to defend sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity at all times. He praised the security forces for their dedication under national leadership and recognized their ongoing efforts in counterterrorism operations. Additionally, he expressed appreciation for their sacrifices and professional commitment to duty. Ultimately, the government reiterated that national defense remains the top priority during this sensitive period.
