Marriyum Aurangzeb praises Pakistan army’s Swift Afghan border response

Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has lauded the Pakistan Armed Forces for their decisive and robust response to recent attacks originating from Afghanistan. She emphasized that Pakistan exercised maximum patience and restraint, demonstrating that its peace-oriented stance should not be misinterpreted as weakness. Aurangzeb highlighted the military’s effective countermeasures, noting that attackers fled swiftly under the professional and measured response of Pakistan’s forces.

The minister praised the armed forces, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for showcasing exemplary military expertise in defending the homeland. She described their actions as historic, reflecting a steadfast commitment to truth, justice, and national security. Aurangzeb noted that the attacks violated international law and agreements established with the Afghan administration, underlining Pakistan’s principled stance in regional affairs.

Marriyum Aurangzeb stressed that Pakistan has consistently contributed to Afghanistan’s development, peace, and welfare of its people. She further noted that the attackers underestimated Pakistan’s resilience and professionalism, facing a response that was swift, measured, and highly effective. Aurangzeb underscored that the nation’s armed forces continue to play a critical role in safeguarding citizens and preserving the country’s sovereignty against external threats. Her remarks reaffirmed the government’s confidence in military leadership and strategic preparedness along the border.
