
A Gallup International survey revealed that 61 percent of people across 58 countries, including the US and Europe, consider Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the most disliked global leader. This marks a 20 percent increase in global disapproval since 2019. The finding highlights growing international criticism of his leadership and policies.
Respondents cited Netanyahu’s role in alleged human rights violations against Palestinians as a major reason for disapproval. Across the United States and Europe, negative perceptions were particularly high. The survey shows increasing scrutiny of his government’s actions on the global stage.

The highest opposition came from Iran, where 98 percent of citizens expressed dislike. In the United Kingdom, 52 percent and in the United States, 42 percent openly disapproved of Netanyahu. Pakistan recorded 49 percent disapproval among its population.
In contrast, some countries showed notable support. Azerbaijan and Kenya reported 58 percent approval, while India registered 50 percent backing for Netanyahu. Analysts say regional geopolitical dynamics influence public opinion differently across nations.
