The operation was conducted in three phases, starting in late December with ground operations integrated with aerial surveillance targeting criminal networks. The second phase involved cordoning off major strongholds, including Mach, Katcha Rajwani, and Katcha Karachi. The final phase, which ran from January 7 to February 13, focused on surrender, during which more than 500 criminals, including high-profile gang leaders, turned themselves in. Among those surrendering were members of the Umrani, Sikhani, Dolani, Bingyani, Lathani, and Inder gangs, 34 of whom had bounties totaling Rs10 million.

Maryam Nawaz highlighted the use of advanced technology in the operation, including drones, night-vision cameras, and quadcopters, which allowed authorities to track and monitor criminal movements in real time. A total of 1,700 personnel were deployed, supported by armored vehicles, bullet-proof vehicles, and aerial intelligence assets. Arms recovered included grenade launchers, sub-machine guns, shotguns, and pistols.
The chief minister praised the cooperation of the Sindh Police and government, noting that tri-border challenges were overcome through coordinated efforts. She also emphasized the recruitment of 53 women from the tribal areas of Dera Ghazi Khan into the border police as a historic step for the region.
