Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, along with Muhammad Saleh, Press Counsellor, inaugurated Pakistani Art and Culture Festival at Dubai International Art Centre.

The Consul General congratulated and appreciated the organizers for showcasing Pakistan’s artistic and cultural wealth on an international platform. He said that Dubai is a hub for multicultural engagement, noting that UAE provides unique spaces and opportunities where diverse cultures converge, interact, and are celebrated.

Highlighting Pakistan’s deep-rooted art and cultural heritage, the Consul General emphasized that art serves as an important instrument of soft diplomacy, helping project Pakistan’s positive image to the world and fostering people-to-people connections. He reaffirmed the Consulate’s continued support for cultural initiatives that promote mutual understanding and strengthen cultural ties between Pakistan, the UAE, and the wider international community.

Speaking on behalf of the organizers, Ms. Soobika Fawad thanked the Consul General and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai for their encouragement and support. The festival is organized by Pakistani artists Ms. Soobika Fawad, Ms. Afsheen Beig, Dr. Anum Ali, and Ms. Alia Amin, who share a collective vision to promote Pakistani art and culture beyond borders. The curated showcase brings together traditional influences and contemporary expressions rooted in Pakistani identity, craftsmanship, and cultural narratives.

In addition to the art exhibition, the festival features curated cultural vendors offering traditional Pakistani clothing, jewellery, and handcrafted creations, including truck art, pottery, etc.
