
Following a police raid on X’s Paris headquarters, Elon Musk turned his criticism toward Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, labeling him a “true fascist totalitarian” over proposed teen social media restrictions.
Musk posted on X, calling Sánchez a “tyrant and traitor to the people of Spain,” after the premier described social media as a “failed state where laws are ignored and crimes tolerated.”

The Spanish leader’s remarks criticized Musk’s platform for allegedly amplifying disinformation related to Madrid’s decision to regularize 500,000 undocumented immigrants, sparking a sharp response from the tech billionaire on social media.
The raid in Paris, carried out by French authorities on February 3, was part of an ongoing cybercrime investigation into X’s AI chatbot Grok, allegedly used to create child abuse imagery and sexually explicit deepfakes.

X had implemented technological measures in mid-January to curb the misuse of Grok, but authorities continue probing the AI tool, marking the first time Musk himself has been directly questioned by prosecutors over the matter.
Additional investigations into Grok’s parent company, xAI, have since been launched, including one by the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office on February 3, intensifying scrutiny of AI content moderation and platform accountability.
