Smith, a right-handed batter, boasts extensive experience in T20 cricket, having featured in the Big Bash League (BBL), Indian Premier League (IPL), The Hundred, Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), and Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Across 272 domestic and franchise T20 matches, he has scored 6,242 runs at a strike rate of 131.38, including 30 half-centuries and five centuries.

Most recently, Smith played in BBL 15 for Sydney Sixers, amassing 299 runs in six matches at a strike rate of 167.97, with a century and two fifties, helping guide his team to the grand finale.

Sialkot Stallionz also recently appointed former Australian wicketkeeper-batter Tim Paine as their head coach. Paine brings a wealth of experience, having captained Australia in Test cricket and played 35 ODIs, providing leadership and strategic insight for the franchise.

Owned by OZ Developers, led by Hamza Majeed, the Sialkot franchise was acquired during a high-profile auction in January for Rs 1.85 billion. With the addition of Sialkot and another new team, the league will expand to eight franchises for PSL 11.
