Baitul Sukoon hosts padel tournament to support free cancer treatment

Published on: February 3, 2026 2:39 AM

Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital & Hospice (BSCHH) successfully hosted its Padel Tournament 2026 on Sunday, 1st February, bringing together sports, community, and compassion for a vital social cause. The funds raised from the full-day tournament will directly support 100% free cancer treatment at BSCHH, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diagnostics, and hospice care to under-privileged patients.

The tournament was organized by Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital & Hospice, with KFC Pakistan as the Title Sponsor, and was supported by Friends of Bait-ul-Sukoon. The event took place at Padelverse, offering a vibrant and energetic sporting environment that drew strong participation from players, sponsors, donors, and community members.

Featuring Men’s, Women’s, and Kids’ categories, the tournament hosted a total of 24 teams, reflecting engagement across age groups and genders. The matches showcased competitive spirit and sportsmanship, culminating in an award ceremony that celebrated winners, runners-up, and acknowledged the contributions of key sponsors and partners.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Jameel Yusuf S.St., Co-Chairperson & Managing Trustee, BSCHH, said: “Cancer care leads to immense emotional stress and financial burden, often beyond the reach of many families. Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital & Hospice exists to remove these anxieties by being Pakistan’s only cancer hospital providing 100% free treatment to every patient who walks through our doors. I am deeply grateful to every individual, corporate partner, institution, and the Government of Sindh that continues to support this noble cause. By standing with us, they are not only transforming lives, but are truly blessed for standing with humanity in its most vulnerable moments.”

Founded in 1999 as a hospice, Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital & Hospice has evolved into a 79-bed, state-of-the-art cancer hospital, offering free chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diagnostic services, targeted therapies, hospice care and much more. The institution operates entirely through donor support and remains committed to treating every patient with dignity, compassion, and quality care, totally free of cost.

The successful conclusion of the tournament reflected the unwavering support of the community, sponsors, and volunteers who came together for a cause larger than sport. Bait-ul-Sukoon expressed deep appreciation to all those who helped transform a day of competition into lasting impact for cancer patients.
