Lahore Qalandars star David Wiese skips PSL

Lahore: Lahore Qalandars star David Wiese has withdrawn from PSL 11 due to personal commitments. Team owner Thameen Rana confirmed Wiese remains an important part of the franchise family. Wiese’s decision comes ahead of the tournament’s start, surprising fans and teammates alike.

Rana said Wiese has always been a key player and contributor to the Lahore Qalandars’ success. He emphasized that Wiese’s absence will be felt but the team respects his decision. The management continues to support him and looks forward to his future return.

David Wiese expressed gratitude to the Lahore Qalandars and their fans. He said being part of the team is like joining a family, not just a cricket franchise. Wiese highlighted the strong bonds and experiences he has shared with teammates over the years.

He added that he hopes to rejoin Lahore Qalandars in the future. Wiese said he remains committed to helping the team achieve success whenever he returns. He also described the Pakistan Super League as a tournament he values highly.
