
LAHORE — Pakistan’s national cricket team has departed for Sri Lanka ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The squad includes 15 players, featuring captain Salman Ali Agha and star batsman Babar Azam. Preparations continue for the high-profile tournament starting in early February.
The team also includes Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and others. Sources confirmed that the squad will spend the first two days resting and acclimatising in Sri Lanka.

Pakistan will play a warm-up match against Ireland on February 4. The game will serve as final preparation for the group-stage matches. The team aims to build momentum before the main tournament.
