Coordinated terrorist attacks in Baluchistan launched by a separatist group once again substantiated the security concerns of Pakistan. It has been sufficiently established that the recent coordinated terrorist attacks across multiple districts of Balochistan on Friday-Saturday were primarily carried out by the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
The banned terrorist group claimed responsibility for a large-scale offensive titled “Operation Herof 2.0”. This operation involved simultaneous attacks at over a dozen locations, including Quetta, Noshki, Gwadar, Mastung, and Pasni. It is obvious from the magnitude of terrorist attacks that handlers of the banned groups actually wanted to portray the absolute chaos in the province.
No second opinion prevails in Islamabad regarding the support of Indian state actors to those terrorist groups which are striving to dismantle the writ of the state in Baluchistan and KP provinces. Just like in the past, dubious social media accounts operating from unknown locations and a significant part of the Indian media started boasting about the terrorist attacks to multiply the chaotic effects.
Nature of coordinated attacks and scale of Indian support have further endorsed the use of the term “Fitna al Hindustan” by the Pakistani state to designate these banned separatist groups, highlighting their role as proxies for Indian intelligence to destabilise the region.
While the BLA led the most recent major terror wave, the BLF also frequently operates in coordination with them under the BRAS (Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar) umbrella and has claimed responsibility for several other recent ambushes on military convoys. Pakistan has repeatedly pointed out the absconders like Bashir Zeb Baloch, Allah Nazar, and Harbiyar Marri as the masterminds directing the terrorist operations from safe havens in Afghanistan and elsewhere under Indian patronage.
The response of Pakistani forces, agencies and civilian LEAs to the coordinated attacks was an undeniable demonstration of high operational readiness and professional excellence. Security experts are describing the BLA’s attacks as “coordinated but poorly executed,” stating they failed due to “rapid collapse under effective security response”.
Reversal of the situation in Bangladesh after the fall of Hasina Wajid’s Awami League regime is a stark reminder for the Baloch separatists of how India uses ethnic fuel to spoil the peace and prosperity in target states.
The Interior Minister has praised the forces for the swift elimination of terrorists and the restoration of order in the province. Forces reportedly thwarted attempts to abduct passengers from buses in Pasni and Gwadar. Attacks on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Noshki and high-security prisons in Mastung were repelled, preventing larger-scale catastrophes.
Stunning response of Pakistani forces to terrorist attacks on such a large scale has once again proved the supremacy of the state over terrorists and their handlers. Failure of terrorist operation (Herof-2) has also sent a chilling message to the foot soldiers of all anti-Pakistan outfits that their handlers actually lack vision for a better future. The past year proved to be a myth-buster for India on many accounts, and the cycle appears to continue this year as well.
Historic military defeat at the hands of Pakistan amid the Pehalgam terrorist attack false flag operation was a big dent to Indian claims of regional superiority. Thereafter, Pakistan’s tremendous resolve against the Indian state-sponsored terrorism is continuously exposing the real face of the Modi regime to the world. The anti-Pakistan and Anti-Muslim mindset of Hindutva-influenced leadership has snatched every sort of sensibility from the Indian decision-making quarters.
False accusations of cross-border terrorism against Pakistan are being used intensively by India to shroud its blatant atrocities against Kashmiris, religious minorities and scheduled casts. Persistent propagation against Lashkar and Jaish by Indian state actors is nothing but an effort to malign Pakistan and divert the attention of the international community from the follies of the BJP.
Reversal of the situation in Bangladesh after the fall of Hasina Wajid’s Awami League regime is a stark reminder for the Baloch separatists of how India uses ethnic fuel to spoil the peace and prosperity in target states. A swift knocking out of the terrorists in Baluchistan has proved that Pakistan is a major regional player standing against the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism.
