Alizeh Shah responds to Shazia Manzoor’s remarks over her ramp fall

Published on: January 31, 2026 12:16 AM

Alizeh Shah has revived discussion around her 2021 bridal ramp fall after publicly responding to singer Shazia Manzoor’s recent remarks.

The controversy resurfaced after Shazia Manzoor responded to long-standing rumours alleging that she had deliberately caused the on-stage mishap during Bridal Couture Week.

The incident initially took place in December 2021 when Alizeh Shah walked the ramp for designer Nisa Hussain’s bridal collection showcase.

Video footage from the event circulated rapidly online, showing Shah slipping while Manzoor appeared to be holding her arm. Years later, Manzoor dismissed the allegations in an interview, strongly denying any intention to harm the young television star. She firmly stated: “I swear to God I didn’t push her. She fell on her own.”

However, Alizeh Shah responded through social media with visible disappointment, suggesting seniority should not automatically shield individuals from accountability.

Her Instagram statement criticised what she described as insincerity.

She wrote: “Expecting sincerity just because someone is a senior is like hitting your head against a wall.”

The actress emphasised that professional respect should be earned through honesty, talent and meaningful work rather than repeated public disputes.

She continued her remarks by stating that true relevance should emerge from artistic excellence instead of diminishing fellow performers publicly.

The renewed exchange quickly gained traction across digital platforms, reigniting discussions.

Fans noted that the original ramp incident had faded from public memory before resurfacing through this unexpected revival.

Despite conflicting narratives, both personalities maintain influential standing within their respective industries, ensuring continued public interest in their statements.
