
PESHAWAR: Three suspected robbers were killed during an alleged police encounter near Dallu Khel Phatak in Lakki Marwat, police officials confirmed on Tuesday.

According to a police spokesperson, the encounter took place after law enforcement personnel came face-to-face with armed suspects, leading to an exchange of gunfire. As a result, three suspects were killed on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Kaleemullah, Khan Bahadur, and Adnan, all residents of the Tajazai and Gandi Khan Khel areas of Lakki Marwat. Police said the suspects were wanted in multiple serious criminal cases, including involvement in a robbery targeting a passenger bus.
Weapons were recovered from the scene, police added, though no injuries were reported among law enforcement personnel.
Authorities said security operations are continuing in the surrounding areas to ensure law and order and prevent any further incidents. Additional police contingents were deployed following the encounter as a precautionary measure.
Officials stated that further investigations into the incident have been initiated to determine the full scope of the suspects’ alleged criminal activities and to identify any possible accomplices.
