Published on: January 30, 2026 2:13 AM

First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari MNA, visited the Museum of the Future in Dubai on the invitation of the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.

During the visit, the First Lady toured the museum’s immersive exhibitions focused on innovation, sustainability, science and creative approaches to future challenges. She appreciated the museum’s role as a global platform that encourages forward-looking thinking, inspires young people and brings together ideas across cultures and generations.

The First Lady described the Museum of the Future as a powerful expression of the UAE’s visionary outlook and its commitment to shaping what lies ahead. She also admired the museum’s distinctive architecture, including the Arabic calligraphy bearing the words of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which she noted reflects a thoughtful blend of culture, innovation and purpose.

Reflecting on her visit, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said it is a privilege to experience an institution that embodies imagination and possibility for humanity’s future. She paid tribute to the visionary leadership of the UAE and the foresight of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, observing that his enduring commitment to innovation, knowledge and human progress continues to guide future generations.

The visit underscored the close and friendly ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as shared values centred on innovation, education and forward-looking leadership.

Separately, President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday departed for Pakistan after completing a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and economic cooperation.

At Dubai Airport, the president was seen off by UAE Minister of State Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, the UAE’s Ambassador to Pakistan, and the Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, a Presidency’s news release said.

During the visit, President Zardari held important meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations, expanding economic partnership, and exploring avenues for deeper cooperation.

The two sides also exchanged views on progress in defence and security cooperation, as well as strengthening people-to-people contacts, reflecting the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
