Security forces killed three Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district of Balochistan.

The operation was conducted on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan. “During the conduct of operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, three Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell (including local area terrorist Commander Farooq alias Soro, terrorist Adeel & terrorist Waseem),” said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” it further said.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti praised security forces for successfully conducting an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district, commending their professionalism, courage, and timely response.

In a statement, he expressed satisfaction over the operation, saying it demonstrated the preparedness and capability of security forces and law enforcement agencies to defend the country and protect its citizens. He added that the successful action against terrorists operating with foreign backing is clear evidence of the state’s resolve to counter externally sponsored terrorism.

He further stressed that there is no space in Balochistan for anti-state elements seeking to spread unrest, and that counter terrorism operations will continue across the province without discrimination.

President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to security forces for successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan in Panjgur, Balochistan.

In a statement, he said, “Nation’s unwavering resolve and role of security forces in war against terrorism is commendable.” “Operations against Fitna al-Hindustan are essential for national security,” he said adding, “War against terrorism caused by external interference, will continue.”
